Listening to Moby's "PLAY" CD......
Edited on Sat Dec-27-03 05:44 AM by Dover
haven't listened to it for awhile...so beautiful and unique...mesmerizing.
Any Moby fans here? I originally bought it for the song "Natural blues", but fell in love with everything on the CD.

1. I've been meaning to buy that CD for a while now
...now I have to chose between U2's "All that you can't leave behind" and Moby's "Play".

2. Why choose? Buy them USED on Amazon or somewhere at
half the price. I buy most of my books and CDs that way now.

3. I support local record stores
So it really is a choice between the two of them :)

4. My local record store sells USED CDs and records as well as new.
It's out there for you at a reduced price if you want it.

8. That CD is great...
I think I still like "Everything Is Wrong" better..not as a complete album, since it is weak in some spots but for some of the songs on it...like "God Moving Over The Face Of The Water" and "WHen It's Cold I'd Like To Die"...

9. I saw him twice, at his two "AREA" fesitivals in 2001 and 2002
He had a tent sent up for DJ's (he had some big names, Oakenfold,Digweed etc) and the major acts (he had Bowie in 2002) played on a main stage at the same time. I thought he was ok the first time and by the time I saw him a second time I realized I didn't care for him all that much. My sister played "Play" to death and I got sick of it fast...Too pop/commericial for me.
