I just got back from a desert safari

We left Christmas afternoon and spent most of the 26th in the desert and mountains on the UAE/OMAN border.

One way to avoid the post-Christmas blahs is to go on an expedition... :)

It was an absolute blast. SNTTA was also great because our guides were as ecofriendly as possible. We only drove on areas already disturbed. When they used grass to help start a fire, they carefullu shook out any seeds before using. We left NO trash behind.
