3. Professional pilot (ie: whiz quiz kid!)
Or I just might! (Four years attending Humboldt spoiled me.) Yeah, a sounder, live within walking distance of a super mellow beach.....

Beer, hit the Irish Heather in gastown. Music, Granville street buskers should be keeping you happy. Try the Indian food maybe it's awsome....go to the pacific palisades hotel and visit the art gallery..it's neat....other than that..for a day trip, just tour the towhn..maybe hit grouse mountain..the tram ride is fun.

5. Granville Island can be a nice little stroll
Street musicians, cool little shops, great view of the city.

8. You mena the Sky train?
Great way to see the city...but the New Westminster area is a run down dirty part of town..it's not too cool. Lonsdale quay in North Van is okay, there's a huge market, and you'll get to ride a boat to get there..but if you wanna take the skytrain for a spin....go to commercial drive (get of at broadway and commercial), It's a short jaunt from Downtown but really cool. And you'll get to ride the train.

11. also
If you ever "REALLY" wanna ride a train there...I recomend taking the 3:50pm West Coast Express to Port Moody. Get off and take the bus to lougheed mall. then get on the skytrain back downtown..beautiful ride.

9. I was wondering about that train
Also from Granville Island you can take a water taxi across the bay and then walk through the downtown area....past a couple strip joints and dirty book shops. As you near Robson, things begin to pick up class wise and then turning left onto Robson for expensive shopping.
