They had a spoof of a Republican commercial showing "Count Obama" (think Sesame Street) counting "One gay marriage . . . . two gay marriage . . . ." And Hillary Clinton popping out of a woman's stomach (think Alien) offering school children condoms and abortion pills. (Yikes. Are people finally figuring out that this kind of rhetoric is nothing more scare tactics? I hope so.)

16. That was Robert Smigel's TV Funhouse
The only part of SNL one can count upon to be funny anymore. Maya's mangling of the Anthem was funny, but it was all Maya. And I'm in love with Maya.

4. Hugh Laurie is the host.
I've loved him since Jeeves & Wooster! Although I guess most people know him from the tv show House.

14. I'm living in Jersey right now.
I would LOVE to run into a couple like that, but, not sure one like that exists. :)

15. Believe me, for every kind of person there is, there's a gay person
like that too. It's just easier for most people to 'see' the stereotypical pansy guys or butch women.

20. I loved the Hardball thing last night.
That was the funniest SNL skit I've seen in a long time. I really hope that they are starting to move away from the surrealistic-silly stuff and back into good old-fashioned satire, especially political satire. The New Jersey gay couple was also quite amusing.
