A nice mini-documentary about Portland Roller Derby
featuring some of my favorites like Vominatrix, November, Pain, Sol Train, Dora Doom, and Magnet Mad Atom. Things have changed a bit since the film was shot (at last March's bout), but it's still worth a look if you like that kind of thing. Of course I do.

Rose City Rumble.

2. There was a pretty good article about it in Herbivore, too.
I didn't get to see any while I was up there, but I had fun eating my way across town like a locust. Cool city you've got. Needs more parking though.

4. Oh god, let me think
Bay Leaf (meh)
VooDoo donuts
Veganopolis
Pirate's Tavern
Vita
Veggie Thai
Delta (no food for us, but plenty of beer and they'd take minors)
Paradox

Oh, and the good folk at Herbivore stuffed us with cookies, and we bought junk food and stuff at Food Fight!.

6. I like that area, over by the Herbistore.
Yeah, the food at Vita was amazing. I think I could manage the 12 hour drive again just for the country fried tempeh and some biscuits and gravy.

7. Is the Herbistore around 30th & Killingsworth NE?
If so, did you go view the art at Hail Mary?

8. That's the place.
I only went to Vita and Herbivore over there, since I had to drive somebody to work once I got done shopping and playing with the proprietors' baby. I got free play tix out of giving a friend the ride though.
