OK seriously. I'm a college-educated, double-major, pretty cerebral guy but I gotta tell you...for some reason I really liked this flick. That is all.

1. Its a remake...

Forgot the exact title of the original, 80s flick. All I remember is that the girl in that movie was in a guys P.E. class, and got picked for the "skins" team and faked getting sick so she wouldn't reveal anything.

3. " Just One of the Guys" and more of a rip-off than a re-make

with the added detraction of the hot star not showing her tits at the end.

She's "CUTE" w/ a capital "C". Definitely outside the typecasting box. What?

The original 80s movie isn't that bad, at least, I thought it wasn't, then again, I was like 12 the last time I saw it. Anyways, I couldn't watch the more recent reiteration of it. By the way, did you hear that they are going to do a remake of "Adventures in Babysitting"?

2. stopped watching after 5 minutes

but my attention span isn't what you'd call impressive.

Amanda Bynes is cute/competant but her acting style has struck me as grating.

4. I hated the first 5 minutes too...

but seriously...it gets WAY better. I'm not necessarily talking Academy Award stuff, but the movie grows on you.

6. It was interesting,

I had some free Dish Network pay per view vouchers to use up and I watched it with my girlfriend. It was just another movie with high school students who looked like they were pushing 30 but it was entertaining enough.

It was nice to see "Tobias" from Arrested Development make an appearance,

Hilarious. I didn't really notice any 30-year olds, but that was funny nevertheless. :toast:
