Who here remembers....STREETS OF FIRE?
Also starring Michael Paré.

Also has Diane Lane, Rick Moranis, Willem DaFoe and a few other folks.

It was a pretty fun movie, used to love it as a little kid even though I didn't understand it. I saw it again not that long ago and it was still a pretty good flick.

Naw... that wasn't a bitch to get my hands on at all.

Jim Steinman wrote the "Ellen and the Attackers (Something like that? The band Diane Lane was in) songs.

Steinman was the guy who wrote for Meatloaf, also wrote for Bonnie Tyler, Celine Dion among others.

8. My Band Still Does "Deeper & Deeper"
That's the song that plays over the final credits.

13. I have that soundtrack too.
The two songs by The Blasters are excellent: "One Bad Stud" and "Blue Shadows".

3. this film makes up half of Pare's good movies
the other being Eddie and the Cruisers of course.

The climatic fight scene with sledgehammers? That's awesme. Dafoe truly looks evil in this flick

6. I have the DVD!
Who wants to fuckin' touch me? </cartman>

If you want to watch an escape-and-evasion movie, Streets of Fire is good but The Warriors is far superior.

7. I REALLY Like That Movie
I can still quote lines from it. Favorite line: "Ya know Fish, the only problem with kickin' your ass is it would be too easy."

11. took me awhile to understand the imagery in that movie
the use of colors, the stacatto delivery of dialogue.

then it struck me that it is supposed to be like a comic book.

cool little movie.

12. Obscure memory department:
When I visited Universal Studios, they were filming Streets of Fire. Had all these tarps up so they could film night scenes during the day.
