Jane Wyatt, mother on "Father Knows Best" dies at 96

She was Margaret Anderson, the perfect mom, on the long running 1954-1960 series "Father Knows Best" and won two Emmy's for her role. She also did more than 50 films including "Lost Horizon", "Boomerang" and "Gentleman's Agreement."

Personally, I got a chance to interview her for a book I wrote back in 2002 and found her to be completely charming and down to earth.

A fine actress who was married to the same man for more than 50 years. That's a rare achievement in Hollywood.
