I just booked a 50 minute massage
for myself and 2 friends at Burke Williams.

I feel more relaxed already.

Ok, not really. But OMG, am I ever looking forward to that massage!

1. Good for you!
I wish I could go get a massage right now. I could definitely take some time on the table today. :(

I hope your appointment is soon. Enjoy!

3. I try to get a massage at least once a month. Keeps me sane.
It's a great gift to yourself. Enjoy! :hi:

4. I've never had one before...
at least not professionally.

I have a feeling I might have to budget for it from now on!

I'm hoping it helps...I have to do *something* for my stress level. Sigh.

7. Yay!
And yes, I know...it's a travesty. I've existed on this planet for 20-some years without a massage.

I'm guessing I'll make up for that in no time. ;)

I think I was at least 28 before I had my first professional massage...14 yrs ago. :D

5. Oooh, lucky you!
My boyfriend gave me a gift certificate for a two hour massage one year for my b'day. It was just marvelous. I've sprung for one or two shorter ones since but that first one was so terrific. Enjoy! :hi:

11. They are amazing.
Make sure you hydrate well 24 hours before, and make sure you have nothing strenuous to do after, because you really can't. People should get massages at least once a month, if not more often. If I were rich, I'd have a masseuse on staff and get one every night before bed.

13. Hydrate?
That does make sense, though I never would have thought of it. Thanks for the tip!

I think I'm going to have to work it into the monthly budget.

15. You'd be surprised how much fluid they will pull off of you.
Don't ask me why or how, but they do.

14. Well, I figure
If I'm gonna go for it, I might as well go where the celebrities go. My bank account may disagree, but I want it done RIGHT. ;)

20. Lucky!
I could use a massage. I'm so tense, Charles Manson tells me to chill out.

21. Same here
It's either a massage or a trip to the looney bin at this point.

I think the spa is cheaper (though probably not by much)... ;)
