2. She's not worth it
He should get on with his life and leave that fucked up woman in the past, where she belongs.

3. No.
Because, as awful as his ex has been, she is ill...from what I've read, anyway, it sounds like she is an alcoholic, (among other things). And, as justified as it sounds like it might be, it won't make him feel any better to stoop to her level.

5. I couldn't be rotten to anyone I'd loved.
It would be like being rotten with myself.

Long ago I loved someone who bit off my hand, and I gave her an arm to go along with it.

I've never regretted that. Better to have a clean amputation than a festering scar that never heals.

The most remarkable thing about it was that I grew another arm better than the one I lost.

7. Sorry, sometimes you HAVE to stand your ground.....
and make some people accountable. Not ruin them, they'll do that themselves sooner or later, but make them accountable for their behaviour towards others.

That's what's wrong with this world, we just brush off bad behaviour. :(

Just my say. :)

8. But revenge is a dish best served cold...
Manipulitive people will commonly take your anger and use it to their own advantage. Having people angry at them is part of their normal everyday environment.

If you don't get angry, you will knock them off balance. Then, with a clear head you can decide what sort of accountability is most appropriate.

Maybe you don't have to do anything -- maybe that piece of you they took will torture them for the rest of their lives...

9.  I don't think it's taking any kind of low road to
hold an adult accountable for money they owe. The one thing that sobers up an alcoholic quicker than anything is consequences. I don't know how much money is involved but being that there is a promissory note in existence a trip into court might be an awakening for this woman.

12. Points if he can emotionally break her and leave her a sobbing wreck.
Hell, give me some juicy personal tidbits and an AIM handle/e-mail address, and I might be willing to do it for him.

16. Here's perfect revenge...
Keep to the high road, let her walk away thinking she's won; then improve your appearance, get wealthy, and snag yourself a 10. Be seen with 10 enjoying a quiet, stable life with house, kids, picket fence, smiles.

This will eat her away like acid when she of course spreads out fat and can't get a date anymore. Men, it's a buyer's market. You're the buyers, we're the sellers. Women are at disadvantage.

Take advantage of that.
Make her feel it.
