Work hours : Sleep hours - ratio theory
Here's the theory. This ratio should never be greater than 2:1 when the number of sleep hours is fewer than 6. Today's ratio is:

11:5

Ugh. Want to add a corollary?

:hi:

I'm off this week, so my ratio would throw off polling for sure. Then again, I've done something to my back, so my sleep time has decreased dramatically, so on the other hand. Oh, um,

:)

4. I hope that the show was worth it.
Did you come in for the CBGB bash last night? Saw bits on the news, after the Met/Cards game. Looked like fun.

Thx for the  Yes, I guess teaching a dance class and then immediately piloting a van from Boston to NYC wasn't a good move.
:)

5. I wish it were...
It turned out to be not nearly as good as we'd hoped, and we waited through three really loud, mediocre bands to see it. Ah well, a learning experience for us all. *sigh*

Iiiiew, the Boston to NYC drive... my sympathies. :)

8. Nature of my job...
I'm a barista. I'm a great opener and closer so I pretty much only get opening and closing shifts because they don't want to schedule me too many hours. As for why so many, just the way the schedule fell this week.

12. Corollary: the number of sleep hours should never be less than 7
(Unless you have a strange desire to encounter the dark side of Petronius...)

13. That would be fantabulous...
I'd love to live in that world! The one where everyone gets 7 hours of sleep all the time! :hi:
