I'll be spending Christmas Eve with an ex...
Her new boyfriend is spending Christmas with his family, so she invited me over - "but no hanky panky". ;)

I have no expectations about what might or might not happen, but I am bringing a bottle of chardonnay (and innate charm and good looks) just in case.

I'll let you know how it goes.

2. You're hoping she'll cheat on her boyfriend?

4. Of course not
But there is plainly still something between us - we've both admitted as such. Like I said, no expectations...I'm sure I'll be content with however the night ends.

Just thought The Lounge would enjoy a little soap opera. :)

5. If there's still "something" between you, why are you visiting her?

That's just asking for trouble, and you're going to be fucking over her boyfriend in the process if you do anything.

I should know - it happened to me just a couple of weeks ago. So forgive me if I'm not celebrating this momentous occasion.

6. Relax - she invited me
And I don't plan on "fucking" anything - my guess is it'll be a fun, flirty night and that we'll just enjoy each other's company.

God forbid we have a good time on Christmas Eve.

7. Your first post made it seem like you wanted something to happen.
And if you did, that would really just not be cool. If you guys want to get back together - or even just fool around - then at least be decent enough to let her break it off with the other guy.

9. Well, if the idea somehow gets put in her head...
...to break it off and see me again, I can't say I'll complain. :D

Just the same, the world will not end if we remain friends.

12. Well I, for one, wish you well.

I'm in much the same situation and I feel the same way. My ex and I have our flirty moments, but we're also great friends now. Should something more develop (again) that'd be interesting, but if not, life is still good.

Sorry your post originally got pounced on. I think it's a good thing.

10. don't do anything i wouldn't do
i love spending time with exs -- some of the best randy good times i've had have been after i've broken up with someone.
but i'm a bad boy when it comes to certain things -- but i have fun!
