The Ann Richards avatars are kind of freaking me out.
Don't get me wrong...I'm a HUGE fan of Anne Richards. She was a good liberal, and a hell of an interesting lady. But the avatars...man. Everytime I have a discussion or debating some point with somebody with that av, I kind of feel like I'm debating with an elderly woman. Its like...bite your tongue, your talking to a grandmother. Not just any grandmother...ANNE RICHARDS.

I think that mayhaps I pay too much freakin attention to peoples avs.

3. I have had that same response...
Most avatars I just glance at (if I even notice them), but that one really stands out. She's just looking at you, and it seems that she's really not impressed with what she sees...

She disapproves of my arguments. The person who has that AV need not argue back...just look at me, and I will concede.

7. Ann Richards hates fireworks.
And disapproves of everyone's arguments.

8. Yes, she calls to cops in protest. Of Richies.
I thought that thread was kind of funny. I never call the cops about anything...I'm latino, so I find them scary (not a big fan of the copperino's if you get my drift).

4. It kind of weirds me out, too.
It definitely makes me feel like I'm talking to a grandma. I mean, I have an old dead guy for my avatar, but he loved guns, drugs and football, in addition to his liberal politics.

5. Exactly!!!...I have never mistaken you for a guy.
or do I doubt anybody has ever thought I was an actual pirate (people like me prefer the term freelancing buckaneer, thank you very much). But that darn Ann Richards...I keep thinking I'm talking to a grandma, no matter what the name or sex of the person who has it.
