OK...a little DU empathy for a nurse whose been tending to the sick

..I've had a few cocktails,and just want to see who had a frantic weekend knocking themselves out taking care of the sick folks...
My patients are basically the ones medicine has given up on...vent dependent,stroke patients,and other old,sick people who deserve some tender loving care.I'm spent.

1. It's been a while since I've had to tend anybody really sick,

but how about my respect and admiration in lieu of empathy? :hug: Plus, this will kick the thread!

3. RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc. are some of my very favorite people.

My mom was a CNA, as are both my sisters. The total cool with which they do their jobs, sometimes under very stressful conditions, has had me in awe my whole life.
