Never done fc on British. Is it worth spending our miles on or should we just go Business?

1. From what I've seen
there is little if any difference between Business and First Class. I wouldn't spend the extra for First. Enjoy your flight.

4. That's what we've found on trans-Pacific flights
Didn't know about the trans-Atlantic ones.

2. They have the best seats in First.
They fold down into flat beds, and the cabin attendants make them up with sheets and big fluffy duvets. Lovely!

3. london's socialist
take a bus :-)

Welcome to the london international transport lounge. You are welcome to stay and work
in the london (inside m25) lounge for as long as you like provided you live up to your part.
It you wish to pass from the M25 international lounge in to Enland proper, any of the many
M-gates can check your passport, formerly exits on the M25, the gates are the new immigration
boundary of the shengen aggreement.

Once you've passed to the home counties racial decontamination zone, tory volunteers will
feed you a vegetarian diet whilst fleecing you of your account details, and then you will
be whisked away to the emerald city, where the queen will meet with you, kiss your behind,
annoint you a knighthood, and give you a castle in a grotty part of Motherwell.

...and, if you visit Glasgow, you can be mugged for free, or have the valuables in your car
stolen at no extra charge from visit scotland. Its a full service UK these days, hate to
leave a first classer out of the clockwork orange.

:-) enjoy your elite journey, upper middle class arisotocrat ;-)

6. I think we'll be okay
Although we are a little worried that the tofu might not be quite up to LA standards. And what's with this racial decontamination zone? I would think that as a child of former East Asian colonials that the British would let me in with just a warning to behave myself :)

8. We have friends in the North
But we're on our own until we can get our asses up to Newcastle. Partner was in London last year and he claims to know the ropes.
It's the first real vaction we've had in a while. We'll come back broke and mile-less but we'll have a good time getting there!

5. Buisness class on BA is as good as first on most other airlines.
The seats are waaay comfy, and the service is great!

12. British Air is fantastic.
I don't think you need to fly first class. I flew economy on student tickets in a Boeing 777. We had individual TV screens, salmon for dinner and they even gave you sleeping masks. I would ask them what kind of plane it is though, if you're not sure.

13. Assuming it's a 777...
This site should help quite a bit http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/British_Airways/British_Airways_Boeing_777-200.php

If it's a 747, click on the navbar on the left.

20. I love seatguru.com
It's sad when you no longer need it, because you've been there so often you can conjure up USAir's entire fleet in your head....

14. British Air's FC is second to none! Enjoy yourself!
I have never been treated better on a flight than when traveling BA first class.

18. I think they still have 'pantry' service
They basically leave the snacks and drinks out for you to take at will.
