Where do you think he is residing while in Baghdad? Is he in a military camp with our guys?

I hope so......They said on CNN that many Westerners stay there at the Shearton.

1. I hope EVERYONE is safe
the soldiers, Letterman, the Iraqi people. Dear God, look what we have done to Iraq. This is what extreme lack of planning gets us. It is CRIMINAL.

2. I always thought Dave was a class act.
He has an infant son at home but chose to go to Baghdad to cheer up the troops.......... You know this is something when even Faux gives it coverage..... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,106620,00.html.

4. He's a class act
Underneath the snarky facade, he is a genuinely decent human being. I remember during the OJ escapades and subsequent trial, he refused to do even ONE OJ joke, saying "There is nothing funny about a double murder". Meanwhile, Leno's moronic Dancing Itos made me swear off the Tonight Show for good. Leno just strikes me as phony and asskissy. Letterman may be a bit sarcastic and quirky, but a class act. I thought it was fantastic when he thanked the entire medical staff who performed his heart surgery by having them take a bow on the set. You could tell how grateful he was he got a second chance at life.

I have his mother's cookbook, and she is a real sweetie. Great stories and photos with the recipes. He really was just an all-American kid from Indiana with an oddball sense of humor, and to me, the rightful heir of Johnny Carson.
