Late night cat thread...
Since someone complained earlier that there was no cat thread in the lounge tonight, I thought it proper to start one prior to retiring for the night. we just spent a half hour trying to find a camera, any camera with film still in it, so we could document my three cats lying like sausages in a package in the same chair. I never would have believed it, had I not seen it, and I still am not convinced that I didn't hallucinate. Tootsie next to DC, with Pooky on DC's other side and his head on DC's butt. Not that they don't get along, but this was really over the top for them. Usually, DC is very territorial with Pooky (both tom's) and Tootsie plays with both, but tends to be kinda standoffish at times. Seeing them like this is what makes me really glad that they're here. I'm going to bed now, and they will follow me. I wake up every morning with them layered in bed with me-Pooky by my head, Tootsie around my waist and DC by my feet. Makes getting out of bed without disturbing them a challenge.

3. Oh, I know that feelin--when you can't find the camera
One morning I woke up to see my husband on one side of the bed and our cat in the middle. Nothing unusual about that except for the fact that this time she was lying on her back and was under the covers, just like the humans. Her paws were on top of the covers and she was snoring her head off. I immediately started laughing because that was the same position in which my husband was sleeping. I tried to quietly get out of bed for the camera but by the time I'd returned, she was awake. Sleepy eyes, but sitting up and my great photo op was gone. Still, it's a funny image that I will always be in my mind.

4. I think they know when there is no way to document them
I am convinced that they are smarter than they let on.
