I kept trying to find a breather in the Mets' lineup. There ain't one.

I have no regrets, though. We lost 91 games in 2005 and 74 this year. It was a great turnaround, and they gave me one memory for a lifetime — those four consecutive homers to tie the Padres in the ninth inning a couple weeks ago, then Nomar's homer in the 10th to beat 'em.
