Anyone ever visited a "nude beach?"

Ol' Tyler was only 28, feelin' BUFF from 10 weeks of USN boot, 12 weeks Corps School, and 10 weeks USMC Field Medic School.

Problem: I am as blind as a bat without the specs. Who walks around on a nude beach with their glasses on? Gauche.

So I take them off. Leave them with the clothes, and go in the water (COLD! Helps with "involuntary reactions.") I come out of the water, and can't find my friends or my clothes. I walk up and down the beach, starting to panic, until those bastards start to LAUGH, and I find them.

NEVER tried it since.

I'm as blind without my glasses as you are. It helps to have someone with you so you can find your stuff. :P)

And actually, I do wear my glasses on the beach. I only take them off when I'm going into the water.

3. Growing up, it was the norm

Lots of skinny dipping holes in Vermont. Went to my first one with my aunt and uncle when I was about ten - we were in suits but no one else was.

Later as a teen and in my early 20's, it was a usual pasttime - hot day, hop in someone's car and run up to one of the many spots on the West River where we'd peel off and jump in. Out here, it seems like more of a "thing" - a big deal of sorts. Back there, it's just skinny dippin'.

4. I once went swimming in the ocean naked at two o'clock in the morning.

Don't ask, I was alone, and it made some kind of sense to me at the time.

When I came back to shore it was very dark and I couldn't find my clothes. So I'm walking up and down the beach stark naked, looking for my clothes amidst random piles of kelp, and wouldn't you know it, someone had called the police.

They had flashlights and helped me find my clothes.

there were about a 1000 naked horney guys running around and one very over the hill woman lying on her stomach with her top undone, talk about a let down.

where the sun in the nude......not exactly Brad and Angelina types there though......mostly Tom Arnold and Rosanne types.....not for the faint of hearts...lol

The nude beach just runs right into the regular beach, kinda silly, so the nudies get all mixed in with the regulars. Gotta say, not all that great, especially when Oma (grandma), Opa(gramps), mom, dad, the two kids and their friends are nekked the next spot over being generally boring and kinda creepy.

The sexiness is in what you can't see.

I wear specs, too. Before I go into the water, I look back for a blurry landmark so I can find my gear.

15. The New River is one long nude beach

Used to go canoing with a bunch of friends and skinny dipping would frequently break out. I think we only observed by cows. Have been to a nudist resort but there was no beach there

16. A few times in college

These is one on the Air Force land east of Navarre, FL. Went with my girlfriend of the time, got sunburned, haven't done it since.

We used to do a lot of night time skinny dipping during HS and College. The only issue with that is there are these pin fish that nip at you at night. If they nip at certain areas, it HURTS!

There were no showers, only that pond, to be shared with a few hundred of your naked closest friends.

After we came back, skinny dipping became the norm at the local and illegal swim sites at a resevoir in the woods.

Through subsequent years, I belonged for a couple years to a clothing optional resort in Topanga Canyon, a great place but too far away to be practical. I went to a really creepy nude beach with some friends that no longer exists in Ventura, as a storm wiped all the sand off the beach.

I also had the glasses problem, but that ended when I got contacts, which I even swim with. I couldn't find my towel on regular beach.

but yeah, Wreck Beach is sublime.
