1. Are they showing the first two episodes?
New Earth
and
Tooth and Claw?

(Tooth and Claw is the better of the two, by far... IMHO...)

2. The website says "New Earth", which kinda sucks,
because the Christmas special was really the first episode. It's also important for continuity, imo.

14. My cable guide says Christmas Special first
at 7:00 Central time and then New Earth at 8:30

So it looks like they are starting with the Xmas show.

15. Thanks!
I've already seen the second season, but it's good to know they're showing the episodes in order. :hi:

18. Actually, IMHO,
the 'Children in Need' special takes off directly from The Parting of the Ways and introduces the situation we see them land in "The Christmas Invasion". (which is essentially some waffling dialogue and a TARDIS starting to malfunction...)

To me, New Earth can stand on its own whereas the CiN and Xmas Special are more integral to each other.

3. WOOHOO
I can't wait. I'm making my SO a special dinner and we're settling to eat with the Doctor. I've heard such good things about Tennant. He's supposed to be the better of the two Doctor's.
Que theme music.....

4. One Thing Is a Bummer For Me:
I had all the episodes from last season on my TiVo, which recently died after a 5 year life. They're sending me new one, but ... I hadn't yet watched the last few episodes (the 'war-child with face mask' episode scared the crap out of me!).

That sucks! Well, maybe you go to Blockbuster and rent it (if it's out)before the new one comes on.

I just started receiving cable, so I haven't seen the first season. Will I be totally lost?
