Why does picking up a guitar always make the phone ring?

1. I have no idea.

Seems to me lately i can't eat or try to play a bit without being disturbed. I have been playing with the headphones on to get some peace.

2. It is a fixed law of nature

for the phone to ring EVERY time you pick up the guitar. And turning the ringer off only angers the Gods, who will then send every delivery man, Jehovah's Witness, or kid selling crap in your immediate area to your door for you to contend with. I'm afraid this will never change.

3. I may have pissed the Jehovah's Witnesses off enough to put a stop to that

A nice lady from the JW's came to the door some time back and introduced herself. I asked her if it's true that JWs believe 144,000 people get into heaven. She said it was. I told her there was no way I could handle that kind of competition.

She turned and walked away.

4. I suppose for the same reason it either rains

of a bird poops on your car right after you wash it. :shrug:
