Should I take the route with less traffic or the shortest distance?

The route with the shortest distance will have hellish traffic, but the route with less traffic is a longer distance. I gotta be where I'm going at 8:45 a.m. tomorrow, and can't figure out which way I want take. Traveling time will be about an hour and a half either way.

Which would you choose?

1. Always go for the most scenic route, I say.

Life is too short for poor scenery.

2. Neither is particularly scenic.

At least with anything I haven't seen before.

3. I hate traffic

I vote for less traffic, even if it's a little longer. It usually ends up saving in gas, anyway, as long as it's not too far out of the way. :hi:

5. Lesser traffic route

The speed limit might be higher, you won't be spending as much gas idling, you'll save on the lifespan of the brakes... go scenic!

6. And I drive a manual, too.

So it'd be easier to take the lesser traffic route as far as shifting 'n' stuff.
