For your pictures and your service. I was in the Army a few years later (1974-76), but it was a lot different place by then.

Perfume River east of Hue (South China Sea in the background)



The bombed-out A Shau Valley (near Ta Bat) on a rare day mission during Lam Son 719. The NVA ran convoys down this valley later the same night with full headlights on. See parts of my short story, "Dogs of War," previously excerpted on DU, for a "fictional" account of bad trouble in Laos and an aeronautical limp over the A Shau valley.
