Help! My mom is making me insane...
And I still have 2 1/2 weeks to go on our Christmas vaca. Sundays are the worst because she starts drinking early and gets really weepy. At least she works from 10 every morning to 9 every night. She owns her own liquor store, and doesn't have anyone else working for her, so she works 11 days. If she didn't, I'd probably have already been checked into Griffin (The state Mental Ward).

3. hmmm..what state?I could've been there by now.
Hey chill darlin'... mom's are cool. For real ok? I had a fight with my mom once and it lasted for about 3 months. I think I almost lost it during that time. When I finally figured out that it was everyone else's way of thinking then I realized what was going wrong.

4. I'm sorry, Duckie
My mom was the same way for many years. It's pretty hard to take. You just come here and vent, 'kay? :hi:

5. Sorry it's so tough.
Can you help her out at work? That might cheer her up.

What about planning something else for you two to do together when she has time? Maybe visit a museum or zoo, etc. That might help keep her off the sauce for a few hours and give her some happy, hopeful memories to cling to in your absence.
