Dave Barry is carried by my favorite weekly, Liberal Opinion. Are you sure Barry was bashing Democrats? Reading Dave Barry often contributes too much irony in my diet, however, I do think that he is on our side. I could be wrong (my standard disclaimer).

I think he likes to think he's "above all that" politics stuff.
