"I'm Horny, I'm Stoned" -- at least I recall it appealing to me long ago.

Didn't they release some BS album not too long ago, with the singer from the Cult filling in for Jim?

2. They did
Densmore refused to cash in on Morrison's corpse however...

I liked the jams in between the singing on those tho..."Ships Without Sails" is great until Manzarek starts to sing..l.

3. I did not know there were any.
Wouldn't that be kinda like The Experience w/o Hendrix?

Sounds like I did not miss much.

4. Yes and No
When it came to singing, The Doors sans Jim were bloody awful. None of them could keep a tune, and they sounded like a bad garage band from Encino.

When it came to playing, however, they still held up. If they had made them insturmental albums, they might have been good...

5. I just, er, "acquired" these again this weekend
I also have the vinyl somewhere, complete with the die cut thing that came with Full Circle. Both are decent records, but they really aren't proper Doors albums. I voted for Full Circle, because it's more bluesy than Other Voices, and they had started to find their own sound. Other Voices always seemed like it was forced, as if they were trying not to sound to "Doors=ish".

If they had held together and made another one, they might have been able to pull off a second career.

6. If they would have just been an insturmental band too
They could have survived.

7. I can't pick
I've never heard either of the albums in full. If I ever see them on vinyl, I will definitely pick them up, as I've been planning to for years, but I think they're more the type of albums you have to seek out, unless you just happen to get really lucky in the search. I've heard a single from each one, though; "Tightrope Ride" and "The Mosquito", and I think both of those songs are good, especially "The Mosquito" 'cause it's goofy lyrically and the jams are really fun. It disappoints me both of these albums get ignored on Doors compilations; it seems like at least a couple of songs would get some representation. I definitely understand how many would say it can't be the Doors without Morrison but the music has always been as key a part to the bands' sound as Jim's lyrics, and most of their songs were band compositions, so I believe the other members definitely contributed something.
