1. Here's the rundown
This guy who hasn't been in any of the other episodes jumps out of the bushes, and grabs Keiffer Sutherland. He kidnaps him and takes him across town to a Starbucks, where he tells him about a plot to turn all of the world's oranges purple. As his psychotic and needlessly complex plan unfolds, suddenly our hero realizes this is a trap and shoots the guy in the head.
Then he is about to leave, but first goes to the washroom. He spends the remaining half hour on the john reading the Sunday paper.
