it's not so bad. Sure the people are more redneckish than in other cities but its like in the top five best cities in America. I read that somewhere.

A good Democratic town. A city with a rich and amazing history, going back to a young British officer named George Washington in 1752 coming upon the confluences of the three rivers and determining that it might be a good spot for a British fort. Ever since then, Pittsburgh has had (for better and for worse) a remarkable impact on the history of our country.

I left Pittsburgh after I graduated from college, and since then have lived in L.A. and, now, New York. But Pittsburgh will always be home to me. I expect I'll be buried there. (Assuming I die. Frankly, that's not in my plans.)

I actually grew up on a farm outside of the little town of Davenport,OK,about 50 miles west of Tulsa,moved around a lot when I was younger. I landed in Tulsa about 14 years ago,got married and bought a house here,so it is my hometown now.
