So I foolishly decide to upgrade from 2000 so I can run some work software at home and everything is going as swimmingly as can be expected until I reboot. Well, evidently XP can't figure out what my USB driver is, so I figure that's no problem. But nooooo. It's solution to this is to bluescreen and somehow simultaneously blow away my RAID drivers. So, I think, well, I'll just go get my handy dandy driver CD and repair the install. Think this will work? Nope. Why? Because for some bizarre reason XP insists I give it the drivers on a floppy in my A: drive. Just one problem: THERE IS NO A: DRIVE ON THE SYSTEM!
:banghead:
Arg!!!!!ARG!!!!
Back to 2000.
