Some of us are guilty of only scanning headlines when we're in a hurry. Your headline is badly chosen because it could suggest that you believe the very attitude you are hoping to criticize.

That said, yes, I agree, the infighting is sad and a waste of time. Dean is not a racist. It is not even clear to me that what he said was all that awful.

If the media properly reported all of Chimpy's verbal gaffes, there would be no room in the newspapers for anything else.
