1. Who would've thunk it?!
Journey...cut it down for sure. Bowie, however...now he rocks!

2. I hear ya. I didn't care for Journey back in the day...
but my 12 y/o wanted the CD, and now I love it. Memories, ya know?

3. Funnier still...I did like them and have an LP.
But one day I saw the lead singer on tv and he strained so hard to hit a note and his eyebrows went all funny and I lost interest. Maybe I like "Wheel in the Sky" but they remind me of sluggy days in the Air Force in icky Spokane, WA.

5. It's just the opposite around here
I still like to rock, but as I've gotten older, I've discovered I can't handle the excessive volume anymore. My son will turn the radio on in the car and I'll reach over and turn it down. One time he looked at me and said "What are you, about 50 now?"

<hangs head in shame> no more headbanging for me.

6. Mine used to be scared of some of my music
They would make me turn off The Residents and Snakefinger.

Don't worry this will change in a few years.
