Does anyone else get annoyed by Nicorette commercials?

Not the advertising itself, but the way they refer to themselves like:

Delivers a steady stream of "medicine" you need to get past your cravings.

As an ex-smoker who simultaneously used the patch and zyban to quit, I find myself screaming at those commercials when they refer to the "medicine you need" because the "medicine" is same stuff you are trying to break away from.

I realize it might not be good advertising to say: Chew an extra piece of Nicorette gum to feed that monkey on your back, but for some reason it really irks me when they refer to it as "medicine".

It's medicinal nicotine. It doesn't have all the ammonia and gunpowder and manure in it that the real cigarettes do. So its pure chewing satisfaction.

That's why I trust Nicorette. I use it every time I quit smoking. AHAHHAHA
