How about Nebraska, east to west?

CT is the worst because the traffic and road construction usually takes what should be a 2hr15min drive into a 4h30min drive. God forbid I should get hungry along the way, because the only place on the turnpike is McDonald's, which I can't eat.

10. Kansas north to south is not that long

not like California north to south, or Montana east to west. My BiL had a song on one of his albums, called 'long drive (I-29)'. Which is kinda strange since I-90 or I-80 or I-70 are much longer drives. I once drove from Charles City, Iowa to Jamestown, NY in one very long day with a stop in Logansport. That was kind of a fun drive though, except for two things - 1) taking a wrong turn in Cleveland and 2) driving all over Jamestown looking for hotels.

it's looooooooooooooooong. Kansas is gorgeous if you get off of interstate and explore some of the little towns. :thumbsup: (I didn't mean that as a diss of Kansas. I love Kansas.)

9. Austin is a cool place. The Hill Country is beautiful.

The Gulf Coast is nice to, lots of open beaches. Just don't come in the summer, the fall, winter, and spring is really nice.

They're mostly in NJ. Plus there's one each in PA, NC, FL, and CA.

Combine insomnia along with spending time a bunch of time on the computer organizing a protest and yeah...I've been on DU way more than healthy. I still found time to get a tan though. And I'll be off DU for the next three days, so that'll slow me down.
