Jeebus Rice, I just had to school my dad in ancient Greek and Latin nouns.
He's writing some book about ancient mathematicians and needed to know a whole assload about the roots of math terms. As the house language nerd, I was tapped to find out the requisite info. Did you know that "ellipse" comes from a verb meaning "to fall short?" Because I didn't care. But I learned something.

I researched more about Ancient Greek in an hour than gets covered in a semester of classes. My head hurts.
