I am headed to the family cabin in Pike National Forest

in colorado. I am headed up with my Grandparents to meet other family for a reunion.My Grandparents are in their 80's and of course my Grandfather will insist on driving. Gonna be a long, slow, trip. But I am ready for it! Got my Ipod, my year's worth of Reader's Digest that I haven't read and the trees, chipmunks, squirrels, and bears. I have been doing this with my Grandparents since I was five-years old. I am looking forward to it! :-)

I am damn near forty years old and my Grandparents are still alive and kicking.I almost didn't go because I have a broken hand, but then I don't know how much longer my Granparents are going to be around. I gotta go......

We are a little tiny green strip that survived the hayman fire. When you are on the compound, you can't even tell we were in the middle of the biggest forest fire in colorado history. Are you close?

few people under the age of, I'd guess, 40, have gotten to have.

That's one advantage of being my age; I remember EXACTLY the kind of trip you're going to take, except it was with our parents rather than grandparents.
