"24" Rules
I'm on the west coast so it just ended but I must say I've watched this show religiously for three years and it does not disappoint. I never thought Tuesdays would be Must See TV

1. Three years?
Has it really been that long? I watched the first few hours of the first 24 series, and then stopped following it. My biggest problem was that, despite events supposedly occurring in real time, a lot more seemed to take place in each hour than really could have occurred.

What I must do is rent the video/DVD of the series and watch it, one or two hours per day in sequence. I think that then I'd get a better sense of what's actually happening.

I must say that I do like the concept a great deal.

2. Well...this is the 3rd season
So I guess 2 1/2 years. Yes definitely get the DVDs. Sometimes I wish I could watch them all at once at the season's end commercial-free, but I can't wait that long.

3. The only thing I find unrealistic in that show...
is how quickly the people get around in L. A. during rush hour.
I know it's so the story flows, but come on! This is L. A.
In rush hour.
You can't get across town in 15 minutes.
Hell, you can't get across town in 15 minutes in Minneapolis during rush hour.

4. You have to mentally check-out with some things...
I'll give you that. But most of the time they are cruising around in helicopters and such. Gotta just go with it...
