Any Lava Lamp experts on board?

Mine took a spill last night while it was running. The clear liquid got all cloudy, kind of like one that I saw that had been deliberately shaken.

On edit: It wasn't too bad of a fall. Apparently my cat knocked it off of the stereo speaker where it lives. It did a single somersault and landed on its feet on a small African cat-shaped table right next to the speaker. Could have been a LOT worse.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

1. It will eventually heal itself!

Let it cool off, don't shake it while it's hot. After a week or so it will probably return to normal. Mine did!

2. You mean leave it OFF and let it sit for a week?

I appreciate the help and the words of encouragement. My party room is not the same without a healthy Lava Lamp!

BTW mine is the "rocket" style with blue lava in clear liquid. I won it as a door prize at a company holiday party.

The one I saw that had been deliberately shaken by a drunk person never recovered. Hopefully the less severe shaking mine took will make healing more likely.
