How does that old say ing go? "You have a lifetime to write your first album and six months to write your second", or something like that.

I'm going to say Van Halen (debut album), Weezer (debut album), and Pixies (Surfer Rosa).

2. Good call!
Tom Verlaine has a new album coming out. It was reviewed on NPR last week. Meh.

3. Oasis
I love all the Weezer albums except for Make Believe. Oasis's best by far is (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

4. Guns N Roses. Appetite for Destruction was golden. Everything else blew.

7. Boston
First album was fantastic. The few that followed sounded exactly like the first one.
Very dissapointing!

8. The Sounds and The Libertines
Living in America and Up the Bracket are genius. Their sophomore efforts, not so much.

9. The Libertines were prefabricated, I think.
They were like a media prank. A post-modern Monkees, if you will.

Maybe I should put it on right now.
