Words and phrases that mean little or nothing to me......
Caucus

Furbish and refurbish

Political environment

and I am drawing a blank on the rest, but they will come to mind eventually.....

Also, while I am at it, why isn't a dried plum called a plume??

5. THAT'S IT!!! That's another word I was thinking of the past
week to put in this thread, thank you for that. I need to start writing them down, there are a bunch that are so arcane, so nebulous, so strange that I'm not sure someone wasn't playing with the dictionary.

10. The economy is a person, a patient that must be kept at
a specific temperature, receive a certain amount of light, and above all, provide money for people who don't really do much of anything for a living.

After that, you can say pretty much anything.

13. Arrrrrgggggghhhhh, GIVE US A SENSE!!!!!!! Now there is
an overused phrase, not a nonsense phrase, but certainly overused by the MSM. It's always "give us a sense".

15. That one drives me nuts, too.
One person starts using it, and then everyone apes it.

Like when condi started using "clearly" in advance of the invasion of Iraq, it hadn't been nearly as popular as, say "obviously". Now EVERYONE says it.
