My mom is really sick, and the doctors can't figure out what's wrong...

my brother (who was my closest confidante before I moved away) won't talk to me...

and my Ex (who was my best friend for 15 years) is suicidal and hates me...sigh. x(

5. Ok...even though I'm not sure about you, I'll answer...

1) Hard to help it, it's a BIG change, and it's been a difficult process so far...

2) I know it's not my fault! My mom is my father's primary caregiver, and he's terminally diabled/sick, and she's doing quite poorly. It's been going on for months now, and I'm scared. :(

3) I have no idea what's going on there...I think he's resentful that I left him with Mom and Dad, but we're both adults, and I think his behavior is unfair to me. I've tried to reach out numerous times, and...nothing.

4) I know! I dumped him almost a year ago, he needs professional help. I miss my friend, that's all, and I'm concerned. Just b/c I can't be "with" him, doesn't mean that I don't love him. :shrug:

I really understand the stuff about your mom. My mom was sick for the longest before they finally were able to figure out what was wrong with her. It was difficult, and frustrating, and scary and everything else. I'm sorry you are having to deal with that along with everything else.

I'm starting at a new university and my brother just moved to florida to enter drug rehab.

My mom is ok though, thankfully.

I'd recommend getting your mind off things for awhile. Exercise some, do something fun (for me it would be something like play a videogame, watch a movie, etc). Stop reading depressing news stories if that is a downer.

I'm an expert at getting myself out of depressed states since I've done it so often. The key is mindset. Figure out what depresses you and avoid those things until you feel better.
