What Kind of Cat Person Are You?
You're not going to believe this. My result:

"You are definitely a cat lover and meet most of the tests of responsibility. But you haven't yet made a slave of yourself over your cats."

Here's the quiz

1. same answer, Bertha! Maybe it was choosing to save the $200
for the household instead of buying the cat tower, what do you think?

2. Good morning, my dear bertha!
Here's my results: Not too bad, considering that I don't currently own any cats.....and none own me!

You have completed the quiz and your composite answers reveal the following about your relationship to cats: You are definitely a cat lover and meet most of the tests of responsibility. But you haven't yet made a slave of yourself over your cats. That isn't all bad, you know, as you may be a better caregiver and cat parent for it.

3. I'm not much of a cat person. My results.
You have completed the quiz and your composite answers reveal the following about your relationship to cats: You may own cats but they are not really the center of the universe for you. You may even consider yourself a cat lover, but you haven't yet passed the test. You can gain a better relationship with your cat by reading the articles under Responsible Ownership and move toward regarding your cats as sentient beings rather than property.

I don't own cats. I am a dog person and a slave to my dogs. I have 2 dogs.

4. I tried to take the quiz, but my cat sprawled out on the keyboard,
and he doesn't like to be disturbed or inconvenienced, so the quiz will have to wait.

You are a helpless slave to cats, but that could come back to haunt you some day. Keep in mind that acceeding to their every wish is not always best for their welfare."

Funny, considering how badly I was flamed earlier in the whole "I can completely understand people dying in a hurricane to stay with their pets" thread. :P

12. mine and it's pretty accurate.
"You may not be an out-and-out cat hater, but both you and cats would probably be better served by keeping your distance."

My daughter has one, and I'm always joking with her how it's time we took the cat "shark fishing". :)

That animal always keeps an eye on me, I think it senses that one wrong move and the delicate balance we've achieved could suddenly end with bad consequences for both of us.

Thankfully it's an idiotic internet quiz that means nothing in the real world.

16. Same thing.
A few months ago I was having a problem with my fourteen year old cat being consistently incontinent on my carpeting, despite doing everything in the world to fix it. I was roundly chastised by the loungers because I was considering all options, including putting the poor little thing asleep, since my marriage was suffering for it. I finally ended up taking her to the office where I work (I am the manager so I can do this) and she is now the "work cat". She is not incontinent because there is no carpeting at the office, although she did poop on one of the throw rugs one night. She sees me now more than she did at home, since I spend more time at work and she seems perfectly content. But in all honesty, if I start finding presents all over the office, I'm certain the board of directors will not be so understanding. So I guess she is pretty much on notice. I have my doubts that many of my friends would have jeopardized their marriages or jobs for their cats, so I guess I am definitely a cat lover, but not a total slave yet.

24. I'm a slave - which I find kind of funny -
considering my first answer was I throw the cat off the chair onto the floor.... LOL.

ALL my animals are spoiled rotten - but they have rules. Not major rules - but rules. And they know what they are.

Discipline should go hand in hand with over indulgence, IMHO.
