We're looking for a singer, have been for a while. Just thought I'd ask if anyone out there was looking to sing some rock & roll songs.

Probaly not but would like to try out for the hell of it, too bad I don't live in the Denver Metro area.

2. I'd join ya
...but I think the six-hour commute to band practice is more than I would have put up with, even back in the day.

Besides, I don't look as good on stage wearing just a belt and a dishtowel anymore. ;)

Meeeeeemmooooriiiiies.....

3. Do you earn enough to make a living?
I'm a good singer, a great sax-player (MM in performance), and a passable rhythm guitarist. Also play flute, keyboards, percussion (my minor), and bagpipes.

5. Sounds like you're too pro for us
Right now we're just guitar, bass, and drums in a hardcore/metal band. If mp3.com were still up I could point you to some samples of songs. It's like Pink Floyd meets Rage Against the Machine on a lot, but tehre's everything from Maiden to Tool to Korn to Marvin Gaye.

11. What's that? A knife? Right in my back?
Just kidding. :D But I am all about the way they write their songs. The layers and textures and whatnot.

9. Okay, here goes
For what we play, see the previous post.

We practice just north of Denver in a town called Frederick, our drummer lives in Greeley so it's a nice medium between the two cities.

As far as description goes-The drummer's main influences are the more hardcore 80's bands like Maiden, Metallica, etc. and he is 26. The bassist is 24 and likes the computer music, techno and samples and the like. I'm the guitarrist, 23 and into bands like Tool, Rage, System, but I also dig on the more mellow stuff like Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, and Neil Young.

15. Up until we left Denver in July
we were there all the damn time. Boyfriend is in a band. And I was hooked into the local music scene through school. It's sad when the doorman knows your name. Man, that place was dirty!

10. We haven't had a singer
It's kinda tough getting gigs with no front man. But we did play a show at the Federal Theater about a month and a half ago. People seemed to like it.
