Poll question: Whenever you flip channels and come across "Buck Rogers",
What's the first thing that comes to your mind?

1. Quite truthfully, as soon as I read "Buck Rogers"
I thought "beede beede beede".

I was pretty young when it was on, but I loved it.

7. I'm sure Gil was thinking what Buck was saying in the episode
"Planet of the Amazon Women":

"This is degrading."

Actually, that's a fun episode - if a little hammy though. All it needs is some cheese and bread and you've got an ersatz-Arbys. :D

9. No Doubt!
But, really, the whole series was based on T&A. Just fun to see a little male "T" once in a while!

But here's a philosophical question: Why is it that a man can show a naked hairy chest and bulging crotch and most men would just think, "man, wish I was built like that guy!", while women who see bulging bouncing women running across the screen often say, "that tramp!"

What's up with that?

10. T&A and what I like to call "disco on dope"
Of course, the ep where Buck answered the T&A of the week had Buck listening to Three Dog Night, saying it was real music, having switched it to TDN after having enough of 25th century weirdness... :D

Quite true, more male "T" would be nice! ;-)

As for the philosophy, that's a new perspective. Of course, if you agree with the thought that says women prefer emotion over appearance while men prefer appearance over everything, it kinda fits that women would see the bouncing women and calling them tramps, while men wish they were all buff with big yummy bits thinking that women liked the big yummy bits over all else and are just as "loose" as they are... :-)

I think the show had the T&A for the daddies, spaceships and action for the kiddies (who wouldn't realize what T&A is for), and nothing for the moms, unless the moms had a fetish for Gil Gerard. B-)

Can't stand Twiki though... a droid with a rebel attitude is just too ghastly to contemplate and yet they did it! Of course, if I looked like Twiki I'd have a pretty freaky attitude too...
