Pills, a caveat.

The other day, I'm downing a small handful of vitamin pills and they got stuck in my throat. I couldn't breathe or make any sound for what seemed many seconds and was really scared I would die and my wife would find me dead on the kitchen floor. I reached down my throat in an effort to make myself throw up and took out a couple of little, tiny capsules.


I subsequently realized that the pills were dry as they went down even though I took them with water. So, now I make sure they're wet before I swallow them. I'm posting this after one of my blues favorites, Sam Meyers, choked to death today.

An ounce of prevention ....

Just, remember, always take pills with water or any other kind of liquid...;)

2. You can only imagine.

I knew it was a portal out if I wanted it. I reacted by instinct as much as by will. I spent the rest of the afternoon working through the trauma. :hug: :)

I feel very fortunate that I made it through relatively unscathed. I really didn't want my precious wife to find me dead on the floor especially while she was taking on extra work to get her project done in time.

I'm really paying more attention to how I take my pills now. I'm also paying more attention to things in general.
