I'm in line waiting for the repairman for my AC. The temp inside the house at 9pm is 90° and it is unlikely to get below 85°. We have the windows up and the fans on full blast. All positive thoughts are welcome.

7. I don't know what it got up to...
I don't think it was as hot as it was yesterday, though.

Storms rolled through a couple of hours ago and we've dropped to 64.

I might actually be able to sleep tonight...

*thud*

19. Ottawa, Ontario
Yesterday, the high was 33C (91F) with a humidity index of 46C (115F). Today is a bit nicer at 21C (70F) with no humidity. A much nicer day and I don't have to have the A/C on for the first time in over a week. I can actually open some windows!

20. Why do weathermen always say....
"Another BEAUTIFUL day today" when the temperature reaches 95 degrees? Do these people live on the sun or are they encouraging people to go to Water World?
