Bull Roarer? Did you ever make one?

Swing it about your head , make cool noise? Crocodile Dundee whirled one about, made a cool sound in movie number one.

I made one (Old guys do not have very much entertainment). Swung it about my head, made a nice sound, but not much body. My little girl (almost forty) tried it. She got a better sound than I did. George (big strong son) when he whirled it got no sound at all.

Some day if you are really bored. Make one, swing it. Report back to me.

Never made one. Used one once - to the amusement of an actual Aussie.

on the internet told me how to make one. Very basic. A piece of wood about eighteen inches long ,two inches wide and one quarter inch thick. Attach four feet or so of string to one end of wood. Instant "Bull Roarer". I played around with different shapes sizes weights..Cool way to WASTE TIME!

Google Bull Roarer..Very interesting..Any Music Majors here?
