7. No
Everyone has tattoos. It's cooler and more individual not to get them these days. :)

11. Unfortunately, it won't look stunning for too long.
It'll fade real fast on a palm or foot bottom.

13. Interesting.
Friend of mine told me that it's illegal to tattoo your hands or feet in the US because of the small veins and nerves... that must be a European person.

14. I don't think so
A friend of mine has a tattoo on the sole of his foot and plenty of people have them on thier hands, although usually on the back sides rather than the palms.

16. It's not illegal.

Most artists just refuse to tattoo foot bottoms or palms, because they end up looking like shit eventually even if they start out nice. Most good artists don't want a crappy looking tattoo attached to their name.

Even the top of the foot fades faster and is harder to heal than most spots. Some artists have reservations about tattooing the tops of hands because of employability issues.

10. Bmezine.com has lots of pictures.
Just remember it's not cool to still someone's tattoo. It's okay to use it for an idea though. Make sure you really want the design and the location before you do it. Wait a few months on it. Also, check out the artist's portfolio and make sure they have something in the same style you want and that their art is good. If you don't like it, walk. If they don't have one to show you, run and then peel out of the parking lot.

17. I like the portfolios that Cactus Tattoo has; lets you see the artist's
work first.

Think about: how will this look when I am 50? 60?
Will I look at this someday and wonder "What the hell was I thinking?" or will I look at it and go, "Man, I love this..."

Don't go with anything 'faddish' would be my suggestion...and think about placement. What is least likely to wrinkle/sag/deform/etc as you age.
