1. I'm very happy with Propecia, after several years of use.

8. Downside of Propecia
You cannot donate blood while taking it. (Due to the risk of birth defects when pregnant women come in contact with it.)

So that rules it out for me right there. I am a regular blood donor. My hair is thinning, not too bad right now, but it does bug me. Thankfully my wife doesn't care!

2. No... I'm holding out for gene therapy...
But, seriously, losing your hair isn't so bad. When I started losing mine, I thought it was the end of my social life. Strangely enough, though, the quality of women I've dated has increased, despite the hairline recession. It's hard for us to understand as guys, but the balding thing doesn't really matter to most women...

If it is bumming you out too much, though, you could look into hair transplants. Try this place:

Like I said, though, losing your hair isn't as bad as you think!

3. What matters is why you're losing your hair.
If hair follicles are still present, regrowth can occur. If they're gone, forget about it.

Bald men can be phenomenally sexy. A sufficiently confident bald woman likewise.

...and it's rare to find a balding man who doesn't have a furry chest (my ex-girlfriend claimed to LOVE my hairy chest... :D)

9. I'm dating a man who is losing his hair.
Everyone comments on how handsome he is and he is the sexiest man I've ever been with.
