Our new Alley Cat got sick.
Edited on Sun Dec-14-03 11:03 PM by BiggJawn
The Tom that showed up before Thanksgiving in an indoor-cat coat (kind of like watching some doofus gget off the plane in St. Paul in baggies and flip-flops)came down with the Mother of All Head Colds.
So right now he's convalessing in the basement, getting amoxycillin 2X a day, has classical music to listen to, and will be divested of his nuts in about 2 weeks when he's well enough.
He's going to become House Cat #4, and we need a name. My Girlfriend wants to call him "Sir Purrs-a-Lot" because he does (he also does that "chortle" thing, as sick as he is) Me, I voted for "Ben Lucas", you know, "Old Ben Lucas, had a lotta mucus, running right outta his nose..." but that got thumbs down in a big hurry.

So, I guess "Sir Purrs-a-Lot" it's gonna be.
I hope Beelzebub has an EXTRA large coal shovel waiting for the bastard that dumped him...

1. Our shelter adoptee kitty is also kind of under the weather
for he's also recuperating from a sore on his leg, that became infected in the sense of becoming a boil or abscess and I figured the sore on his poor leg explained everything as to why he initially limped slightly when we first got him.

2. Four syllables?
What are you really going to call him? Purrsey? Sniffles? Vet Bill?

3. Vet Bill! ROTFLMAO!
I LIKE that! "Purrs" is what I think she has in mind. I actually suggested "Snuffles" because he's got a lot of that action going on.

4. Purrsy or Purrcy
Is a clever nickname for a cat.

Bless you for taking him in, giving him care when he needs it, kitty companionship and a good home. A big hug to you.

Cher
