Okay, I'm upset about what is going on over in the ME... But,
compared to the stare downs in the 70's and 80's, this is just a little noise...

The US went on Nuclear Alert in the 1973 war, I remember vividly actually pulling for Hank Kissinger to save the day....

And he did...

But back then, we didn't have the messianic fool in the White House and a fervent Islamist in Tehran....

Things could go worse...

But I would wait to see what happens before I started to panic...

And of history..........

And that is the best way to see this mess........

It is very easy to get caught up in the emotional backwash of the situation......

But we must take the long view of history if we are to keep from going over the edge, IMHO.......
